Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst

Job Type: Full-time Location: Moore, OK

Our tax and accounting firm is seeking a sharp, highly motivated CPA to join our Moore, OK team as a Senior Tax Analyst. The Senior Tax Analyst position is primarily responsible for working alongside our Tax Strategy team to help develop and maintain advanced tax planning strategies for our high net worth clients.

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for:

• Completing tax plans developed by the Tax Strategy team
• Meeting with clients to review the tax plan once completed and providing guidance as to how the tax plan should be implemented
• Leveraging accounting knowledge to identify client needs
• Overseeing all aspects of a client’s account with the firm
• Preparing a variety of income tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041, etc.), sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, etc. for a small set of clients
• Communicating consistently with clients regarding any changes in their tax situation
• Holding quarterly meetings with clients to review tax planning and compliance
• Reviewing client’s books for accuracy
• Providing compilations to business owners
• Providing detailed review and analysis of tax returns and communicating the results to the client annually
• Remaining up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
• Meeting goals for training monthly to enhance tax planning knowledge
• Working closely with clients as well as internal staff

Qualification Requirements:

• Ideal candidates will be able to provide outstanding customer service and demonstrate exceptional communication skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex information and tax law
• CPA required
• Prefer applicants with at least 5 years’ worth of tax preparation and financial review experience, but will consider other qualified applicants
• Prefer candidates to submit resume with a cover letter
