Rachel Bright was born in England and comes from a very large family (seven kids!). At 2 years old her family moved to Oklahoma when her military father was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base. She grew up in Oklahoma City where she built a strong foundation of family and Christian values. After high school she enrolled in the University of Oklahoma causing her to become the “Black Sheep” of the family – her six siblings all cheer for the “Brightest Orange” north of Oklahoma City.
Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with intent to become a doctor or nurse. She quickly realized this wasn’t her true calling. She discovered Polston and instantly knew it was a great fit for her due to her passion of helping others.
Rachel is a huge OU and Thunder fan. She met her husband when he was sitting in front of her at a Bedlam game. He then took her to her first Thunder game. Her future spouse wanted to combine their two loves (OU and Thunder) for his proposal. He took her to the north side of OU's stadium to pop the question and had Russell Westbrook tweet the proposal. They quickly added three dogs to the family: Russ, Serge, and KD.
Outside of the office she enjoys taking her dogs on a walk and playing volleyball or basketball whenever she can. She also loves going to all OU athletic games and Thunder games. Boomer Sooner and Thunder Up!
