Charlotte Beatty was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and has spent the last 10 years in Oklahoma. Charlotte got her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Oklahoma and received her Juris Doctor from The University of Arkansas School of Law in Little Rock. Before joining Polston Tax, Charlotte worked in the Oil and Gas industry as a landman for the state in disability determination. Charlotte also interned with the Public Protection Division of the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office. Charlotte enjoys working at Polston Tax because she loves solving complex problems and she enjoys advocating for people in stressful situations who have trouble advocating for themselves.
When she’s not at work, Charlotte loves spending time with her husband, Adam, and their two children, Huckleberry and Hazel. In the summers, Charlotte loves going to the lake and spending time with her family at their cabin. Some people might be surprised to learn that Charlotte is fluent in Pig Latin and that she lived in Panama for two years. Charlotte is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and IMPACT Oklahoma, a nonprofit organization that provides grants to Oklahoma organizations to strengthen the local community.
