Jonathan M. Cleary has lived in Oklahoma his whole life and is passionate about helping solve tax problems for his fellow Oklahomans. He was drawn to Polston Tax Resolution and Accounting because of the firm’s dedication to their clients and their excellence in the field of taxation law practice. Jonathan is married and has four (going on five!) kids with his wife Shaleen. He is a proud member of the Muscogee Creek Nation and has family ties to the Cherokee Nation. Along with an A.A.S degree in Audio Engineering from the University of Central Oklahoma, he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Speech Communications from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law with certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Public Law. While at Oklahoma City University School of Law, Jonathan was awarded the Creek Nation Post Graduate/Doctoral Grant Scholarship and the Chickasaw Nation Law Library Legal Research Award. Jonathan is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar, and American Bar Association and is an admitted member to the Roll of Practitioners of the United States Tax Court. Jonathan is an active leader in Scouts BSA, inter alia. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing and writing music, learning new things, reading & writing, visual art, and discovering new adventures with his family.
