Born and raised in Norman Oklahoma, Ashley later went on the graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma. There is where she learned that she wanted to serve people. Little did she know that she would find my way into tax law and accounting. Today, she leads a national team of business development professionals in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nevada. the business development team is responsible for generating revenue for the firm and building relationships within the community. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and believe this role was made for her.
Anyone who knows Ashley knows she genuinely loves coming to work every single day. During her time at Polston Tax she learned that the true purpose in her career is to lift others to their full potential, Inside and outside of the firm.
Outside of my firm Ashley has served as the Accounting & Finance Women’s Alliance OKC (Oklahoma City) Chapter President Elect and National Foundation Board Member. Supporting women in finance is crucial to the industry. she has found joy in creating an environment where professional women in finance can gain confidence in their abilities in the workforce. Ashley also serves on CREW’s (Women in commercial Real estate) board as co-programing chair. While serving on this chair, She gets to help highlight the women and emerging leaders of the commercial real estate industry. This is an industry close to Ashley's heart, as in her spare time she works on flipping multifamily units here in Oklahoma City for the Airbnb market. She is dedicated to investing in Oklahoma City through as many avenues as possible.
Giving back to Oklahoma has been an immense pleasure of Ashley's. She have been able to do this by serving on numerous nonprofits boards here locally. She was honored to serve as the silent auction Co-chair for the YWCA Oklahoma City Purple sash Gala. YWCA OKC answered 4,710 domestic violence and sexual assault crisis calls and she was fortunate to lend a hand to help them fundraise to continue those efforts. Ashley serves on the Big Brother Big Sister of Oklahoma, movie night fundraiser located in Norman. Where she has the opportunity to give back to Oklahoma through supporting Oklahoma’s youth in the city that she grew up in. Lastly, Ashley has volunteered as an ambassador for the Greater Oklahoma City chamber. In this role she would support the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce work in facilitating connection between members. Creating a better sense of community for business to occur in the Greater Oklahoma City Market.
