Elizabeth Wainwright is originally from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and has lived in Oklahoma for 13 years now. Elizabeth graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with her BSBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management and a minor in microeconomics. She then went on to attend Western Governor’s University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy!
Elizabeth felt led to this career field because she enjoys working with numbers and various other forms of tedium, particularly turning raw data into useful forms that people can use to better understand their current financial position and inform their decision-making process moving forward. She loves using her number-oriented brain to help her clients obtain understandable information that they can use to stay compliant with laws and regulations and to grow their businesses. Elizabeth says she was led to our firm because of the amazing workplace culture and concerted effort to give back to our communities.
When Elizabeth is not helping her clients at work, you can most likely catch her doing volunteer work including responding to natural disasters, planning and growing pollinator habitats, and working to restore native habitats. Some of her hobbies include needlepoint, kayaking, baking, mowing grass, reading in her hammock! Elizabeth has 3 delightful rescue dogs named Caesar, Sparkles & Tulip; and then 1 cat named Gladys the Mighty Monster! One thing that people would be surprised to learn about Elizabeth is that she served as a volunteer firefighter in her community for many years. Some of Elizabeth’s most proud accomplishments are that she placed as Grand Champion in Pumpkin Foods and received lots of 1st place ribbons for entries in the Pecan & Peanut food categories at the Marshall County Pumpkin, Pecan, and Peanut Food Show.
