Rhema Brodie-Mends was born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma and has lived there all her life. Her family is from Ghana, West Africa. Rhema graduated from Christian Heritage Academy as valedictorian. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a minor in Spanish, and concentrations in Family & Child Development, Psychology, and Government!
Rhema says she felt led to this career field because of her love for people. In her work, she enjoys writing, organization and working behind the scenes, along with getting to help people each and every day. Rhema was led to Polston Tax because she felt the employees shared her passion for helping others, and what really sealed the deal for her was the firm’s emphasis on volunteer work!
When Rhema is not helping her clients at work, she loves to read just about anything she can get her hands on. She loves to go to church and loves singing and dancing! Getting to give back to her community and nurture the next generation are her favorite things to do – whether that’s her playing piano at her church, doing volunteer work, or teaching dance to children. Some of Rhema’s most proud accomplishments include graduating both high school and college with a 4.0 GPA and establishing a dance ministry program at her church!
