Tess Robbins is from Lindsay, Oklahoma. Tess graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology-Sociology. She then went on to graduate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law with her Juris Doctorate degree! Tess says she became interested in this career field because of her love for helping others, and that her mom helped push her to where she is today. Her mom always told her to “use the gift of her mind”- so that is exactly what Tess did when she decided to attend law school and become an attorney. Tess feels that she was led to Polston Tax because she enjoyed her tax classes in law school and participated in a tax clinic at UMKC. Tax law clearly interested her, so she thought she would have a great shot at it as a career.

When Tess is not helping her clients at work, you can most likely catch her spending time with her husband, Brandon, and with her family (especially her niece, Emma)! She also loves going to her fiancé’s basketball games, running outside when the weather is nice, and traveling any chance she gets. Tess has two cats named Olive and Anchovy. Some of Tess’s most proud accomplishments are that she graduated from law school and passed the Bar Exam not once- but twice!
