Gary Newell

Gary Newell is originally from Long Island, New York, and currently resides in Monroe, Georgia, after returning to the state seven months ago. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, with honors, from Northeastern University. Inspired by his high school math teachers and counselor, Gary pursued a career in accounting, which was further solidified during his time in the service as an auditor in the finance and accounting division. He finds great fulfillment in helping clients navigate complex tax regulations, particularly in tax resolution, where he can ease financial burdens and provide relief. Outside of work, Gary and his wife, a retired pediatric RN, enjoy traveling, spending time with their three grown children and nine grandchildren, and attending festivals—especially those featuring Celtic and bluegrass music. A former corporate controller in the retail and construction industries, Gary also ventured into real estate as a broker, finding joy in helping families find their homes. At home, he and his wife dote on their ten-year-old goldendoodle, Piper, their beloved “four-legged daughter.”
