Vanessa Sotelo

Vanessa Sotelo was born in Miami, FL, with strong family roots in Cuba. She has lived in Florida her entire life, recently moving to Ocala in August 2024. Vanessa earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University and initially pursued a passion for accounting before discovering her true calling in tax resolution. Helping clients find hope and relief in their financial challenges has been the most rewarding part of her work. Outside of the office, Vanessa loves Paso Fino horses, enjoying watching her family, especially her daughter, ride. She’s also an avid traveler and a proud member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS). One surprising fact about Vanessa is that, despite growing up in Miami, she was raised on a farm, which instilled a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. Balancing her personal and professional life while studying for her EA license, especially as a new mom, is one of her top accomplishments. She’s happily married to her supportive husband, Ricardo, and together they have two children, Davina and Devin, who are her greatest source of purpose and joy.
