Marina Jones is from Midwest City, Oklahoma, and has lived in the state her whole life. She attended Rose State College for concurrent classes during high school and then graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in political science and forensic science, along with minors in criminal justice and pre-law. Initially aspiring to be a doctor with a focus on genetics, Marina’s love for law prevailed during her forensic classes in college, inspired by the impact of laws on daily life. She enjoys her work in the legal field, making connections with passionate, knowledgeable peers.
Outside of work, Marina loves having anime marathons with her husband, crocheting, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. Living in a multicultural household, she enjoys the lively mix of three languages during gatherings. Marina has traveled to five countries, several islands, and numerous states, relishing the chance to learn about different cultures. Proud of her academic achievements, she graduated with multiple degrees and a 3.53 GPA.
She is married to her wonderful husband and together they have three dogs: Odie, a brave blue chihuahua; Luna, a clumsy “Luna-tic” tap dancer; and Smokey, a smiling boxer mix.
