Wendy Lanning

Wendy Lanning is from Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. Wendy originally relocated from California to Purcell, Oklahoma in 1989 where she attended school. Wendy says that she felt led to this career field because after working in the healthcare industry for many years, she had always wanted to explore this industry. She enjoys and takes pride in her work because she feels it’s important to be motivated and inspired in your career – and finding enjoyment in your work is so valuable in your life! Wendy was led to Polston Tax when looking for a career change after 25 years in healthcare , and she says that she loves seeing how our firm empowers, encourages, and challenges it employees to be the best professionals they can be.

When Wendy is not at work, you can most likely catch her next to a good fire on the patio with music and good company. Some of her hobbies include spending time outdoors, decorating and hanging out with her grandkids. Wendy is married, and has 2 sons, 2 granddaughters and 2 cats! A proud accomplishment of Wendy’s is that she created and managed a company newsletter for a Fortune 500 healthcare company for their local Oklahoma Facilities!

One thing that people may be surprised to learn about Wendy is that she lives directly next to a Tiger Safari park – she shares a fence with them, so she gets to see and hear the ambiance of all the animals!
