Katie Smith was born in Boise, Idaho, but grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Katie also lived in Louisiana for a few years before making her way to the Sooner State. Katie graduated with a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Katie says she came to Polston Tax after a classmate told her about an intern position available. Katie enjoys working at Polston Tax because she loves helping people and that there aren’t too many jobs out there where you feel like you are helping people.
When she’s not helping clients with their tax problems, you can find Katie taking her dogs for a walk or going to the Warren to watch movies. On the weekends, you can find Katie spending time with her Fiancé Dave and their two Shih-tzus, Baxter and Bodhi.
