There are many times when life throws obstacles at you, especially when you least expect it. Sometimes things happen in people’s lives that cause them to not file their tax returns on time – or even at all. This is exactly what we are here to help you with, and for our first client we were able to save them over $71,000 in the process!

Case #1: This specific client was self-employed and worked in agriculture equipment sales. Our firm discovered that how they had been operating their business was actually causing a tax burden for them. We were able to set up an LLC for them to operate as to help lessen any tax burden on them in the future! The client also had several years of missing tax returns, in addition to owing the IRS for several previous years owed. Our firm was able to get them back into full filing compliance by getting all of their missing tax returns filed! Then, to take care of the previous years of taxes that they owed, our legal team negotiated a Partial Pay Installment Agreement with the IRS for only $25 per month!

Case #2: Our next clients owned a business that provided in-home nursing care to senior citizens. They were behind in state withholding payments and owed almost $80,000 to the state of Michigan. The couple had trouble staying in filing compliance with the state because every time they would get caught up on their previous payments due, they had more taxes due and weren’t able to pay it. Their business was struggling, and they were also dealing with health issues and could not afford to lose their health insurance due to non-payment. They tried to file an Offer in Compromise, but just kept ending up owing each quarter, therefore the offer was rejected. Our team took over their case, and we were able to help get them back into full compliance with the state of Michigan. Our legal team then negotiated with the Michigan Department of Treasury and was able to secure an Offer in Compromise of $3,000 on their tax liability, saving them almost $76,000!
