Tax Assistant
Maggie Russell was born in Norman, Oklahoma, and spent several years living in Sumter, South Carolina while her father served in the U.S. Air Force. She returned to Oklahoma in third grade and has lived here most of her life. Maggie graduated high school in 2018 and has completed coursework at Oklahoma City Community College, with plans to return to school next year to continue her education.
Naturally drawn to organization, structure, and critical thinking, Maggie has always loved working with numbers and systems that make things run smoothly. She enjoys her work because it allows her to help others and see the positive impact her efforts have on people’s lives. Maggie is especially passionate about sharing lessons she’s learned along the way and supporting others however she can.
Outside of work, Maggie has a wide range of creative interests. She loves listening to music on headphones or vinyl, crafting, tap dancing, watching games on YouTube, and playing her instruments or singing. People are often surprised to learn that she plays four instruments, has 58 tattoos (and counting), and listens to music in many different languages. One of her proudest accomplishments is nearly paying off all of her personal debt on her own—taking life one day at a time. At home, Maggie is kept company by her two cats, Onyx and Opal, along with about 40 thriving plant children.
