Maria Garcia Diaz

Maria Garcia Diaz is originally from Cuba and has called Jacksonville, Florida, home since 2016. She found her way into the tax field unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised by how much she genuinely enjoyed the work. As she became more interested in tax resolution and planning, Maria pursued her Enrolled Agent license and continued building her career in the field.

Maria enjoys the problem-solving side of her work and the opportunity to continually learn something new. She believes taxes play an important role in our financial lives, yet they can often feel complicated and overwhelming. She enjoys taking something complex, understanding it, and using that knowledge to help others.

Outside of work, Maria loves gardening, painting, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. Many people are surprised to learn that she originally thought she would pursue a creative career in architecture or interior design. Her love for decorating, painting, and creative projects has remained a big part of who she is. One of Maria’s proudest accomplishments is becoming an Enrolled Agent and building a career in a field she never expected to enjoy as much as she does. Naturally curious, she is always eager to learn something new—whether it’s related to taxes or something completely different.
