Tax Accountant
Sarah Amaral is originally from Guthrie, Oklahoma, and has lived in Oklahoma her entire life. She attended local Oklahoma schools before continuing her education at Strayer University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Sarah is currently pursuing her MBA to continue expanding her knowledge and expertise.
After spending many years working in tax preparation, Sarah discovered that her true passion lies in helping people solve problems and guiding clients through situations that can often feel overwhelming. She enjoys educating clients, tackling complex tax issues, and making what can be a stressful process feel much more manageable. One of the things she appreciates most about her work is that there is always something new to learn with every tax season.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and trying new recipes, reading, and working on her MBA coursework. Many people are surprised to learn that after preparing hundreds of tax returns over the years, she still looks forward to learning something new every tax season.
One of Sarah’s proudest accomplishments is earning her bachelor’s degree while working full-time and raising her family, and she is proud to continue that journey by pursuing her MBA. Sarah and her husband have two wonderful children who keep life busy and fun. Their family also includes two beloved dogs—a Pomeranian named Gizmo and a 15-year-old Pit Bull named Coby, affectionately known as “Old Grump.”
