Stephen Mead is originally from Bay City, Michigan, but has been a resident of Bradenton, Florida for 31 years. He attended Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Over 20 years ago, Stephen was hired for a sales position in a niche division of a large tax resolution firm, where he first learned about Enrolled Agents (EAs). He became an EA himself in 2013.
Stephen enjoys his work because it is rewarding to help people who are uncertain and afraid of the IRS, providing them with trust and guidance during difficult times. Outside of work, he loves being outdoors and active, playing golf, adventuring with his wife Kristin, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys volunteering at the local botanical park and taking time to appreciate the simple things in life. People might be surprised to learn that despite being a highly inconsistent bogey golfer, Stephen has made two hole-in-ones!
